1. Who we are

Cove, Inc. (“Cove”, “we”, “us”) operates trycove.co, a consumer credit platform for owners of permanent life insurance policies. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@trycove.co.

2. What information we collect

• Information you give us. When you use the PolicyExplorer or submit the rate inquiry form, you may provide your policy type, approximate cash value, carrier name, email, and anything you write in a free-text field.
• Information collected automatically. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) that do not set cookies or collect personally identifying information. We see aggregate page views and referrers, not individual profiles.
• Information from service providers. Our form provider (Tally) processes submissions on our behalf and may collect technical metadata such as IP address and timestamp.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to estimate your borrowing power, surface your carrier’s terms, respond to your inquiry, and improve the site. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising targeting.

4. How we share your information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site (form processing, hosting, analytics, content management) and only to the extent needed for those functions. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not share your information with insurance carriers or agents unless you direct us to.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain inquiry submissions for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is aggregate and is retained per our analytics provider’s defaults.

6. Your rights

7. Children

The site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Cove’s product requires policy ownership and is available only to adults.

8. Changes to this policy
